[RC] perspective - Alexa Olney

I HATE THE SNOW!! I feel for those of you who live were it snows all the time.
Last Wed we got 21 in of snow in the high desert in Ca. We are at about
3500-3800 ft. I was finally able to get a 2wd vehicle out of my drive way
yesterday. I am so over the snow. Usually we get about 6 in and its gone in 2
days and you can drive the whole time. We were so unprepaired. We don't have
chains, we had to go put up heat tape. Luckily we do have that on hand it does
freeze in the winter here. Our whole town was completely crippled for days. I
couldn't imagine riding in this weather only because you have to shovel so much
snow and bucket water and so on. You're so tired by the end of it all and then
have to do it again in a couple of hours. Its more tiring than riding 50 mi in
top ten.
