[RC] re: working gloves for Pam - Cindy Collins

Pam,
It was -17 here on Sunday night :(
Here's what I do just for feeding: I buy a several pairs of Walmart, camo mittens with the top part that folds back and exposes your fingers (some have light covered finger gloves underneath and some just expose your fingers). They also have a little velcro top "pocket" where you can put the hot fingers heat paks. That's what I use. I can expose my fingers temporarily to work latches, etc. then slip my fingers back in next to that hot pak. This has worked well for me and doesn't cost much.

Riding is a whole "nuther" thing. I use some Mt Horse winter gloves and if it's really bad I stick the hot paks in my gloves between the main glove and the liner against my palm.

Hope this helps a little bit. Cindy (in Wyoming)
