horses. I know with people too lttle potassium can actually mess up cardiac

Can it do that with a horse?



In a word, Yes.



I should have added, so can too much potassium.  And while sodium and chloride 
don't need to be quite as finely tuned, excesses and lacks also mess up all 
sorts of functions.
