Don't be suprised to see the advent of windfarms to be detrimental to public 
lands access.  This could be something that could affect many endurance rides. 

For those of you who think wind farms are cool and a great idea, please read 
"Gusher of Lies" by Robert Bryce.  Wind farms take up an enormous amount of 
space for the relatively little amount of energy they produce and require a lot 
of maintenance so they really are NOT very green. They do very little to make 
us energy independent, but hey, since they soon will be everywhere we look they 
must be doing something. They make me almost as angry as the ethynol fiasco, 
which has been a huge boondoggle at the expense of the American taxpayer.  I 
can't stand the sight of them.
