[RC] chevrons (mileage patches) - Lauren & Allan Horn - Kitley, Carrie E Civ USAF AFSPC 30 MDSS/SGSLFHow about sewing or hot-gluing them to the corners of your saddle pad or half chaps? Rump rug? The talk of receiving mileage chevrons got me thinking about the different ways to display them. Like Carla, I am proud of my chevrons but I'm at a loss as to what is the best way to show them off. In the 70's I remember nylon jackets with various patches sewn all over them. I've only seen one person wear their patches like that currently. I think it is a "cool" thing to do, but I just can't stop thinking that it is also kind of old fashioned. What are some ideas and different ways to display these chevrons? Personally, because I also ride NATRC, I would love to combine them in some sort of....?
