It looks very similar to a bit I used on my first horse.  I'll have to see if I still have it.  :)

I use the TTEAM Rollerbit on the first loop of an endurance ride, and then switch to a Lindell (sidepull/bitless bridle) at the vet check.  The TTEAM bit is very effective for "race brain" without being severe.  I've also found my mare is much less likely to shy while riding with this bit.
