RE: [RC] Fwd: saddle question - Ranelle Rubin

I love my Bandos saddles which are treeless. I have two DR ThunderBask sons who have LONG sloping shoulders, wide bodies, and BIG wide withers. These guys are tanks. The saddle fits both very well. Even sweat pads, nice dry spine, no pressure points anywhere. These saddles are much like a Barefoot Cheyenne, only you can move the stirrups forward and back like a Freeform. The "plate" the stirrups hang off of is very big, almost dinner plate size which distributes the weight of the stirrup pressure more evenly.

They are available from Action Rider Tack and Chris Martin. Candace Khan and Chris Martin developed this saddle to bring us the best of several designs. I have done several 50's and all my training for the last two years in these saddles..happy girl with happy horses.
