Probably the worst thing to do would be to "open the door" - this would 

introduced a rush of oxygen to a potentially oxygen depleted fire and 
could have resulted in what is called a "backdraft" 


That crossed my mind, but the drop down windows were open, the back doors are 
unlatched in the photos and the overhead vents were open. It was already 
ventilated. It was 8:30 AM. People were up and packing to leave. The owners 
were out walking their horses.

I have left 3 burners going while I was outside before just to warm things up. 
I was as good a candidate to have this happen to as they were any day. :-P
