Hi Nancy,

Yeah, the Porter Ranch one sounds scary, the type that can burn from
there to Malibu.  According to CalFire, 20 miles of Interstate 210
between 118 and 5 is/was closed.  A fatality happened on the 118 when a
guy trapped in the closure flipped a u turn while on the offramp and
had a head on collision, no doubt it was smoky too.

The wildfire in Oceanside/Camp Pendleton has impacted the roads too.
I just heard that a horse transport company in Valley Center was put
on alert about evacuating horses there, that's inland along I-15 of
course.

Scary times.  The wind has died down a bit, for now.  Humidity in most
places is 10% or below.

The Bar H here east of Corona can serve as an evac point, as needed.

Hansen Dam Equestrian Center is full and horses and livestock now
need to go to Pierce College.  A new second fire is now burning in
Porter Ranch to the west of the bigger Marek fire.  The wind is
fairly calm here so far.  Any news from Vickie/Tara/Sheri/Mel and or
