RE: [RC] hay bale carriers - on the roof - Ranelle Rubin

April,

I have had the same bale bags from Australian Connection for many years..they are vinyl coated and waterproof. I prefer the half bale bags myself as they are easier for me to move and I can stack them inside the tack room of my trailer.

Subject: [RC] hay bale carriers - on the roof

Has anybody used the $20 hay bale carriers (like can be had at Jeffers or the like) and then strapped those to the top of their trailer for transport? Do the bags hold up or does the wind tear them to pieces? If the wind tears those up, what is good to use?

Thanks,
April
