[RC] Animal products in senior feed - sandy rovane

There is a local feed store as well as Wal Mart who is selling a senior mix for
horses that contains animal products. I never heard of feeding this to
horses??? Any comments as to why? These feeds sell for under 9$ per 50# sack
and are mostly wheat medlings as well as rice hull seeds. There is grain hay
as well as alfalfa. The animal products are last of the list.
