FW: [RC] horse boarding in Tripoli, Libya? - Mike Sherrell

I would take the horse and assume I could find a place to board it. I'm sure Lybia has farms and ranches just like everywhere else in the world. If you have to quarantine it, that'll give you plenty of time to locate something. At the minimum, all you need is a fenced field or walled courtyard, a bucket, a tap and a source of fodder.

Since there were Libyans at the Pan Arab games in Cairo in November, I suggested the FEI as well. The endurance guys were very nice, if utterly out of their league trying to compete with the UAE.

Subject: Tripoli, Libya

Dear Steph,

I am writing to you because I have been trying for the last two weeks (unsuccessfully) to find information on horse boarding facilities in Tripoli, Libya. My husband and I are being transferred there from Houston, Texas and I really don't want to have to leave my horse behind, but at the moment I don't see that I have any other option. Can you help please, or do you know of anyone who can? I really would be very grateful for any information you might have.

Thank you in anticipation.

Kind regards,

Cheryl.
