[RC] shoes - mrsd

Hi! Everyone...

When looking for a horse for endurance....Look at the feet first...Start at the
sole and go slowly up the foot & up the legs. (WISH I HAD ALWAYS DONE IT) It
doesn't make a whole lot of difference as to what the head looks like.. Etc.
Look up Les Carr's horse Tulip. Seems that everytime I have seen him he seems
to have shoes in place. Check the really high milage horses & see what is on
their feet. Karen & Dave Rabe are using Easy boots with great results.
Trilby Pederson did use an easy boot or two on the last day of Death Valley one
year but I'll bet a good bottle of wine that not many of her miles were without
shoes. Look up her record.

These people who have done so many miles must know something.
