Re: [RC] [RC-Digest] Vol: 03.6118 braids and shavings - Chipnml

I've been off ridecamp for a few days, but had to put in my two cents worth....

When I first started endurance, I was also grooming for a polo player and decided to roach my horse's mane.  I left a chunk halfway up his neck to grab onto.  I called it my "modified endurance clip."  Also, I recently noticed some team sorting enthusiasts at my barn who were braiding manes to keep their horses cool.

Also, I appear to be in the minority, but I bed my trailer very deep with shavings.  I've never had a problem with them blowing around and causing problems, even when I had a stock trailer.  I bed deeply enough so any urine is well soaked up.  I tried using the wood pellets, and they did get horribly dusty, but regular shaving are the way to go in my book!
