RE: [SPAM] Re: [RC] [RC] [RC] Club Foot - heidi

So should I just ignore all of my observations of a specific breed just
because they contradict what everyone else is telling me? I'm no sheep.

I've ridden many Arabs and I just didn't feel steady on them and didn't
trust them to take me where I needed to go. I'd vastly prefer a mustang or a
quarter horse. I'm just not an Arab person. More Arabs for you!

I'd say after all I've experienced I'm justified in making that
generalization. It's only an opinion, after all. To each their own.

I have to agree with Lynne--what a stunning generalization! What you SHOULD
have said is what you said in the opening of THIS post--that you just aren't an
Arab person, and prefer to ride other breeds. If YOU don't feel secure on a
horse--ANY horse--that horse will not perform well for you.

I likewise don't feel comfortable on QHs and Mustangs--just can't get in synch
with them. They feel peggy and posty to me, and I don't feel like they will
take me where I want to go, unlike my Arabs, which for the most part have had
the agility of mountain goats and the strength and willingness to take me
purtnear anywhere. Should I generalize about those other breeds because of
that? No way!

Yes, to each his own--but don't diss what doesn't float your boat.

Heidi
