The RMs can make the decision of what to charge for the different distances.  
The rider can decide whether or not to go.  IMO, ice cream should be offered to 
all LD finishers if and only if the LD rider shows up when done to help out 
with the rest of the rides.  Ben and Jerry's would be nice.  The LD debate 
again has been beaten to death.  Go ride your horse or fat pony, whatever the
