[RC] LD/ENDURANCE DEBATE - Normanjudyv

There nothing wrong with having a debate  lets not get preachy. I don,t even compete anymore and I learn something when I read  other opinions. I have always leaned toward being an endurance snob, the people that speak for the shorter distances have convinced me to be more broad minded. I think it almost has to be in your DNA to want to do 100s. Back in the day I was driven & compulsive to do only 100s couldn,t figure out why people weren,t standing in line to go for it. Then I realized others weren,t as crazy as me. I was perfectly happy to finish, never wanted to go fast, I thought it was to scary, still do. Couldn,t understand why anyone would want to do that, now I get it, it,s that everyone is different, some are very competive risk takers & some are into self-preservation. It all boils down to everyone doing what suits them. Judy
