RE: [RC] Thanks for all the Fireworks! - Kitley, Carrie E Civ USAF AFSPC 30 MDSS/SGSLF

I don't suppose anyone has a map of the ride that you could send me privately?

If you went past the lookout that has the little water unit next to it (for
watering one horse at a time) and then went downhill to the river crossing,
that is part of the Fireworks ride. If this is the area of which you speak,
deep white sand with wooden bars across it to control erosion, yes, that is
part of the ride. It's not really that bad, although it is a bit rougher
coming uphill to the finish line.

Heya all,

So I just went on a 4 day family vacation and came back to enjoy all your
informative posts.

I took the Family to Santa Cruz, where among other activities (boardwalk,
steam-train ride) we happened to take a 5 mile hike in the Henry Cowell
Redwoods State Park. Amazing coincidence, ain't it? Anyway, how much of
that sandy crap is in the 25? I've never seen sand like that on top of a
mountain before.

Thanks,
Betsy
