Re: [RC] Big Brown's shoe - Susan

I'm not sure sure the trainer was "shoved" into the limelight but still...that is a lot of pressure.  He showed his lack of character by blaming Kent.  Has anyone heard an apology?  I haven't.  This his horse racing and stuff happens.  Blaming the jockey publicly in a huge race like this is just low rent.

Could I have acted better?

I'm not "judging" the trainer but rather calling an ace an ace.  It's poor character to blame.  It's OK to speculate and to say, "I have no idea why Kent pulled him up.  We'll just have to talk to him when he gets here."

I HOPE I would do the right thing if I'm ever in the trainer's boots.
