[RC] Lighter Note - Barn placement - Kathy Klenk

Hiya everyone,

I am lucky enough to be looking at 2 different properties to buy. Since we all spend time with our horses DAILY I would like folks opinions. My current barn is maybe a 5 minute walk from the house. 1 of the properties has the barn right outside the side door, I mean within 10 seconds you could be from house to barn. The barn does have a fly spray system. The other barn is probably a 10 minute walk down at the bottom of a hill. Assuming I can see the horses and most of what is going on at both properties what would the pros and cons be for having the barn closer to the home or farther? I'm sure there are a lot of things I'm not thinking of.

Thanks for any ideas/inputs!

Kathy K - SE
