[RC] More on magnesium - Naomi Preston

Angie, you right about one form of magnesium;  mag. sulfate (MGSO4, epsom salts), is a laxative.  I just happened to see it on the AERC Prohibited Substances list.  Maybe a vet can explain why.  Other forms of magnesium are magnesium oxide (MgO), magnesium carbonate (MgCO3), and magnesium L-aspartate.
