It's so true, non-horsey husbands just don't get enough credit.


If I didn't have a non-riding husband, I probably wouldn't get to ride. 
Although we're both 66, we still have four disabled adopted children at 
home.  It takes an amazing amount of coordination just for me to condition 
my horses.  We do have in home help for ride weekends, but Bruce plays  a 
huge part in getting everything ready at home so that we can be away for a 
weekend.  He's even - slowly - becoming pretty good crew and he handles it 
with grace when I start barking in vet checks.
