I am looking for shorts to wear in the Florida heat while riding.. any 
suggestions would be appreciated.

We ride with a guy who rides in lycra  cycling shorts.  My daughter, a slim 
trim young woman tried it one time and ended up with badly scratched legs 
from our dense Oregon forest.  We decided he must be awfully tough.
