[RC] Seek Advice on RV Purchase - Jill Cohn

Hi All,

My husband and I would appreciate learning from your experience. We'd
like to get a nice RV, one that our 21 y/o daughter and her friends
could accompany us on horse camping trips. We have a Logan slant 2
horse trailer--2005--with a tack room. What's a decent size to haul
the trailer and not get into trouble with too much length at Ride
Camps, etc? Also, how does one determine load size of the RV's
engine--weare planning to buy used so it seems to often be a matter of
the opinion of the seller? We like slide outs: what happens if the
hydraulics fail and you're out in the boonies? How do you get help to
close those slide-outs back in and get on the road? Any words of
wisdom will be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!

Jill in Berkeley, CA
