I just glanced through the images for the Nordic-Baltic
Championship and noticed in a few pics you can see that the horses have animal
hides, used fur side down, under the saddle blankets or directly under the
saddles. I didn’t go through all of the images, but you can see
this in images 5, 8, 66 and 69 (images by Hannu Kaksonen). Talk about
going back to basics with tack!
