[RC] Heart Murmu - Stagg_Newman

My horse Jayel Super has a mild heart murmur was first discovered  at
a Old Dominion clinic where a sonogram was part of the services.
At the time he was I believe 5 years old.  Of course I started to panic.

I asked my vet,  Dr. Jeannie Waldron, who was hosting the clinic, what
I should do.  She said he had been doing pretty well in training and
suggested that I just ride the horse as many horses at rest may have
that type of condition.

The heart murmur has not affected Super's career of over 10 years now
including 4  wins and and 2 BCs at the Old Dominion 100,
3 wins and a 3 BCs at the Biltmore 100, 1 win and BC at the Canadian
Championship, and a two 4ths at the Pam Am Championship and
a 2nd and North American Championship.  (bit of a proud father syndrone).

So do have the horse carefully checked out.  Hopefully your horse
will have a long and successful career in the sport.
