LOL !!!!spewing  coffee all over my keyboard and dinner plate!!    I bet Dannys honored! I am his new neighbor, and in Gerogia that means we are kissin' cousins, so my donkey Eeyore wants to know if he can be the "godfather"!And Honey my 31/34arab/pinto BS wants to be godmother--  Ha, ha , he , haw! They really are too smart--wait till they start telling you the  water and hay have run out, not like you can ignore them!!The arabs and  half stare when hay is out-- but the donkey  yells for it!!   Laurie

Ok Ridecamp:

I have the second half of the Joni/Jody Tevis cup mules now. Jets Danny Herlong was born on May 10th....and he is way better natured already than his year old full sister, April. Little Danny is my mule, and April is Joni's. In 8 years, the plan is to travel out to Tevis with our part arab mule team for a ride.

April is 13.2 hand now, at one year old and she is really filling out and looking good. PLUS, she is starting to be NICE. She stands tied nicely, you can brush her all over, pick up her feet and I have even started to grab her tail and "tail" her out of the barn in the mornings. She has yet to kick at us, she is just a little scared of things. Still don't really trust her, and there was a time when I just didn't think I could do the mule thing. But, she and I have come to terms and I am really excited over the idea of riding a mule. They are VERY smart.
Next I need to teach her to load in the trailer. She will be going to the mule man in about one month for ground training and breaking to work with his mules. He is very good with mules, and mules just love him.

Jody

Will try to get some pics soon.
