Booy (Petit Jets Shadow) had one too for about the last 2500 miles he did.

Desert Ballad, Nina Warren's horse that was 4th in the Pan Ams did most of his competing (see his LONG list of wins) with only one jugular operational. I know Baskhari with Lynda Corry up lost a jugular and went on to complete 100's. Seems weird but supposedly their body compensates and creates more secondary vessels (did I hear that right or dream it?) I know another rider who retired a very nice horse because he was down to one. She had a fear that he'd need treatment and damage the other but as you see, that can happen standing around in the field.
