[RC] off to Malaysia! - Steph TeeterI'm in Amsterdam airport, still in auto-spanish speaking mode. the folks at the KLM checkin counter looked at me rather strangely :)- Headed to Malaysia now - to Melaka, one of the older historic sultanates on the southwest coast. There's a new ride 'Melaka Grand Invitational Endurance Ride' that I was invited to . Bev Gray will be there too, as will Sheikha Madiya, and maybe Jan Worthington? (I'm a bit out of communication so I'm not sure of the latter - but will know more in 24 hours!). I'll be riding a horse from the King's stable in the 80km distance (perfect) - we'll ride through rubber tree plantations and old villages, and I can't wait! The warmth and humidity will be nice after the dry Andalucian climate. My chapped lips and dry dry skin are going to be very happy... another adventure!
