Cash prices are also common in France and in other european countries. Nothing to compare with UAE of course.
It varies from ride to ride. It can be 5k euros for the winner, it can be a trailer (ok, only a 2 horses trailer, not your big things), it can be a Gaston Mercier saddle.

The only other place I've seen cash prizes was in Malaysia. It think
it's fairly common across the Middle East though.
