[RC] EZ Boot Bare Followup - Roger Rittenhouse

Thank you to all who responded to my issues with the EZ Boot Bares. Special thanks to Karen C from EZ Boot

I got them on. They worked great. We did an 8 mile ride on stones, rocks mud, grass. It took him awhile to get use to them. I think they are heavier then the std boots. Plus he is going in a size 2 Bare and a size 1 std EZ Boot.
I have to tighten them up one hole the next time we go out.

I have not decided if I am going to him BF full time. No, I do not do all that BF trim stuff and he will get shoes back on IF he shows me he has issues.

I am doing this because we are not riding that much. At least no endurance. So his weekly mileage is shorter and at the walk with some trotting. We plan on doing many pleasure trail rides this year.
I do not see the need to pay for shoeing. The pair of Bares was about the cost of 1 shoe job
I will get my shoer to come every 3 or 4 months to balance them and correct any errors in my maintenance. I can do the weekly filling and shaping.

I now have to decide what to use behind Bares or Epics? or wait for the new model ?

Thanks

Roger
