[RC] Starting Middle age horse - Steve

Kim: I started my first Endurance horse at age 18 small saddle bred /Arab
witez2, 14.1 breed black horse
She is 34 years old today and still raising mischief, just cruises the
neighborhood as she unlocks her gates. still 3/4 sound, sometimes. I still
have to feed her, most teeth are all in tack and looks like a 10 year old
and fat the most in vet bills all her life was about $150 and that was from
catching virus's in the wind from other horses.

just got better with age topped ten with the best at age 21, with #210
lbs. and many 50 mile distance rides as well I rode her tell 23 then I let
a junior ride her tell age 28 in fifties, she's retired but still has human
babies ride on her back in the area all she does for a job now is watch over
26 sheep for coyotes and stay on her four legs, flirt with my gelding
its plain genetics and keeping them loose, Geriatric horse to me is after
age 25
