[RC] Want to do your first ride - but don't have a horse ready?? - Spottedracer

Still Meadow farm is sponsoring a new pilot program this year:

"First ride on a Teacher"

Sure, the name sounds strange, but the concept is simple!  If you are an intermediate-level rider over the age of 16, we have extra mounts available. ALL of these mounts are used for beginner riding lessons, They are all smoothly gaited, and MOST have already completed AERC 50's.  Here's the deal: For qualifying riders, the costs are simple: you pay a % portion of the total transport cost to the ride, pay for one pair of horse shoes, and cover all of your OWN entry fees and stabling costs. Then you get to ride along with the team, and the team leader will make sure that both you and your mount have a safe and enjoyable first ride! You must reserve at least 3 weeks prior to ride.

(true, we make no profit off of this pilot program, but's it's our way of letting our experienced horses mentor new riders!... And we like riding with new people as well..)

This program is available at the following rides:

March 23 & 24 - City Slickers. Memphis, TN.  - 2 mounts available.
April 7 - Trace Tribute, Nashvill, TN - 3 mounts available
May 18 & 19 - LBL, southern KY- 2 mounts available.
Also,  Pyramid in Lexington, KY - 2 mounts available.
BSF in TN - 1 mount available.

We hope this pilot program is the start of a wonderful new way to mentor!
