I hear ya, it's quicker too.  BUT, when I have no energy to go out and spend
with my horses, then what's the point? :)  We actually have a Costco
membership and if you shop right, you can get a lot of the low GI stuff
there.  Course not sure it's cheaper...I have to eat right to feel good
though, bottom line.

I've been following The Glucose Revolution series lately,


I tried the "Spend all your money on your horse and have none left for
groceries" diet. Seemed like a good idea on the surface but macaroni &
cheese is much cheaper than baked chicken and fresh broccoli, so it
didn't work. I've had the most success lately with a 5 day flu. If I can
just control my liquid intake now that it's over I'm going to *keep*
those 4 lbs. off! :-)
