[RC] Tevis Trail Construction - clarification and map - Lucy Chaplin Trumbull

Talked with a couple of people at Western States Trail
Foundation (WSTF) and have clarified where exactly they
are doing the work and which trails are affected.

Since I've been GPSing those trails, I made a map showing
the affected area. Jackie has put the map up on the Tevis
website at:

Tom Christokf (WSTF) writes:
The cut-off section was brushed extensively by our working group,
but there will be no trail machine involved in this area and thus
no dirt/soil being disturbed. That cut-off was extensively overgrown,
but is now very passable by horseback and should be a good connection.
The Pig Farm Trail was not worked on and remains in the same condition
as before, although the bog area where it connects with the main trail
may have some improved drainage due to the work. Additionally, the
Training Hill was not touched in this go around and remains the same,
but is still in pretty good shape, all things considered.
