[RC] Pessoa turnout sheets/trying to learn about the materials used? - Skyla Stewart

Any feedback on the Pessoa sheets/blankets, the ballistic nylon ones, such as the Summit turnout sheet?

Anyone know the differences between: Ballistic Nylon, Polypropylene and Polyester materials used for the various horse blanket exteriors?

I understand the denier rating, but can't for the life of me figure out the differences in how the materials work?  From what I am guessing (from others responses) it sounds like the ballistic nylon turnout sheets can go on a wet horse and it will dry them even if it is still raining, yet the polyester turnout sheets pull the water in if put on a wet horse-this later from my own experience and the salesperson telling me so after the fact. I am wanting to research if the ballistic nylon turnout SHEETS are the better choice in general, or what? I'm not looking for brand recommendations per se, just trying to learn WHY the different materials do what they do.

Thanks for any guidance, feedback or links you can send!

Skyla-bored and it is snowing, snowing, and snowing...sigh
