Re: [RC] 2030 - John Teeter

it's cumulative miles during the time period (for the mileage goal). But there are categories for the distances as well. While the distance categories don't have to be sanctioned by anyone, they do have to follow the rules (i.e. if you're going to do a 100 some where/ time that does not coincide with a sanctioned event (AERC/AERA/ ARGNational/CEN/CEI/...etc.etc) then you will need to have the reputation such that everyone will believe you did it! I could easily draw a 100 mile trail - I did for Tevis forexample, but would ANY of you ever believe I went out and did the whole thing alone in Dec/Jan??? I don't think so ...

jt
(re reading glasses. that's the reason I gave Rusty the Garmin 305 and kept the 201 - I can read the 201 ...)

Question...do you have to do AERC distance or is this cumulative miles
during that time period? Could be 7's chance to catch up with Booger. :-)

Darn, this would mean I'd have to try to figure out how to use that GPS I
got *last* Christmas. Once I saw I couldn't read it without reading
glasses I never touched it again.
