FW: [RC] November horsenews - peace and quiet - Mike Sherrell

These were the Vaqueros, by Arnold Rojas. He actually rode on the Tejon Ranch in southern California very early in the 20th century as a boy and young man. It's a very big book, more than 500 pages, consisting of hundreds of stories, anecdotes, of horses and horse situations from his experience and that he picked up from the other vaqueros. An enormous pleasure to read, and there is no book in the world that has more experience-based information on horses and riding.

Regards,

Mike Sherrell
