Excellent article. It also correlates well with what some of the old 
timers have told me about the early days of endurance. Thank goodness 
for the vets that got involved in the early years, Kerry Ridgway, Dane 
Frazier. Barney Flemming, et. al. Today we now have a much safer sport 
for our equine buddies.
