[RC] Bikes at night auburn and ground control shoes - Sheila_Larsen

Funny the bikes at night came up today because as I was crossing the bridge
going home to Cool last night around 8:00 pm two bikes were headed down the
quarry trail (going up river from 49) with very bright lights. I thought I
had seen lights on the trail before but thought it might be my
imagination..... nice to know I am not hallucinating.

Ground control shoes.- Check the archives for discussions on these shoes.
I used them and really liked them but there are tricks to putting them on
and using a washer to hold the nail is a good idea. They also work better
if you have a horse that lands straight and evenly. My mare rolls to the
outside and and they tended to work loose. Slippery on wet grass but I
loved their traction on the trail (not too little not too much) I only
used them in front. The best way to see if they work for you is to try
them.
Thanks,
Sheila

And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful
than the risk it took to blossom.
