RE: [RC] FW: Kahlil Khai Award - Jannelle Wilde & Adam Falk

What a great award honoring a great horse!  Does anyone know how many 100s it would take in an average year to win this award?  I suppose I could go search but I’m hoping someone smarter than me already knows the answer!  I’m just curious as I know that the total number of 100 starts appear to be down as the demographics of the sport are changing.

Subject: [RC] FW: Kahlil Khai Award

The owners of The 3JFarm (Joel, Jody and Joni Buttram) have asked that I post this to Ridecamp and the AERC Member’s Forum on their behalf:

The 3JFarm proudly announces its sponsorship of this award to be given for the first time in 2007. This award is to be given to the horse which completes the most one day 100 mile endurance rides in a single competition year. Our intent is to honor the Southeast region’s greatest 100 mile horse, Kahlil Khai. We look forward to acknowledging such 100 mile greatest in the ultimate test of endurance riding….the one day 100.

Please visit the following website for more information about this award and how to apply your miles toward winning.
