Concerning the inquiry about moving or riding in southern state==have 
you considered the Rio Grand Valley near
Brownsville, Tx.     There are many "snowbirds" from the midwest that go 
to this area during the winter and
as I understand the cost of living is better then most anywhere else!

I found this forum helpful as I was doing research also on southern 
states.   Yu can put in ay city or state
and ask your own questions.
