Re: [RC] Long Distance Hauling - nebar

In the Summer I freeze water (either plain or flavored) in their buckets (half full). Also I buy ice blocks along the way to put in the buckets. Hang that in front of them and it acts as a coolant and as it melts they can drink if they want. I did the same thing for our dogs when we were showing they have water available without the usual mess. I do add water along the way if the horses are drinking all of the liquid. Plus it gives two of my horses something to do besides looking for trouble.


Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming- WOW -what a ride!!
