The competition card allows the holder to cross enter (for additional fee) an 
AHA distance event (that is for us non show >>folks).  That is what Eric was 
talking about, Joni needs one more state for her award this year with Cash.


OK, so lets say I'm just doing miles on a registered, non-sweepstakes horse. If 
I pay to get a competition card I can then pay *another* $25 extra at four 
rides and *maybe* I get a jacket saying I rode in 4 states?  

Tell me about the "legion of honor" etc. What would it take for a distance 
horse to earn that and why would it matter if I'm not his breeder, etc.
