I was riding in the local park and saw a young hawk ahead of me about 10 yards with a little snake in his talons.  He figured out that we were about to walk over him so he flew with the snake but it got caught in the middle wire of the wire fence.  He was a sad looking hawk that looked wistfully at the snake in the fence as we rode by within a few feet of him!

No, but I've twice seen hawks flying off with big long snakes hanging from their claws.
