Re: [RC] [RC] New PS 100 mile ride in 2008 - Jody Rogers-Buttram

This is why I hope to keep the great secret of Alabama just that...a secret.  I prefer to let them think we are the backwards, redneck, hillybilly state that the rest of the country *thinks* we are.  In reality, in Huntsville, AL, there are more PHD's per capita than most cities that size.  We have great weather, taxes and land is reasonable, we can grow anything here (legal and non-legal), wonderful forests to ride in, etc.  OOPPSS...I just let the cat out of the bag.  OK, on the downside, we get a lot of tornadoes.

LOL...that's probably true!  I can't believe how much land costs out there!

Dawn, look on the bright side. By the time you moved to California, paid an exorbitant price for a house, pay our horrendous hay prices, our higher than the rest of the country gas prices, and don't forget our sky-high property taxes and more taxes on everything else - you wouldn't have any money left to do any of our 100's!
I barely do!
