It is truly raining as hard as I've ever seen rain. It will certainly change things. if the trail is anything like what I see outside, it's standing water 3" deep on the area just outside of the vetgates. just amazing. It drains quickly here, but the shear volume of water coming down is overwhelming.

It has cooled down a bit though, so possibly there is a silver lining.

(p.s. now I'm worried a little about steph too -- she's out in an SUV with the Japanese horse-tv guys. it could be VERY VERY dicey finding the road in the water...)
