Please correct me if I am wrong. I am under the impression that all riders in an AERC sanctioned ride are AERC members. The only difference is that some pay for a yearly membership, and some pay less for a membership good only for the ride day.


Now why didn't we all think of this?! Non-registered members pay a fee to become "day members", therefore they ARE AERC members, if only for a day. So day members should be in the position to have a protest registered against them just as well as yearly members.
