[RC] Which Wyoming ride? - Kristi Schaaf

We're considering timing our 2008 horse camping trip
'out west' with an endurance ride. IF the Shamrock
ride near Wheatland WY and the Happy Jack ride near
Laramie WY are both held next year, which one would
those of you familiar with them suggest? I'm mainly
interested in two things - scenery and not repeating a
bunch of trail on a 50. They're both approx 700 miles
from me so we'll plan our vacation time/camping around
the one that most offers what I'm looking for in an
AERC ride. Also, any suggestions for scenic horse
camping/trails in southeast or east central WY would
be appreciated. I had originally planned to attend the
Black Hills ride and then camp there as I LOVE the
Black Hills, but sadly have another obligation that
