Re: [RC] re: heaters and generators - Mike LewisLikewise... the Mr. Heater manufacturer also told me their units were not suitable for use in horse trailers...I'll run mine for about 20 minutes right before bed and again at about 2:00 in the morning, but the heat doesn't stay for long and usually leads to significant condensation (I suspect air leakage near the floor of my trailer is the culprit--I have good insulation on the walls and ceiling.) Like I said I don't like the loud generators myself but the real quite ones don't bother me. We try and camp as far as we can at rides.Because we use our generator to take showers and some cooking other then that I don't use because it's loud. Unfourturnly I am one of the few people who can handle very hot weather but can't take the cold so thats why I wanted to know what others used to stay warm.I called the place who manufacture the Mr. Buddy heater and thou they DID NOT recommend sleeping with it on they did say that IT was the safest heater to use.So I will try that! Thanks again! Andra =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
